The training is characterized by simplicity and most of the exercises include one task and a specific motor duty, which makes the level of performance and the physical and technical characteristics of the players inconsistent with the requirements of matches in handball, which is characterized by dynamic events in addition to the simultaneous and successive technical and tactical tasks required for excellence in matches. Therefore, the researcher decided to use dual task exercises as a modern training method to complicate training loads for the purpose of developing their complex skill performance in handball. The research problem is what determines the type of method used that the researcher chooses to reach the required results, so the researcher used the experimental method with the design of (experimental-control groups) with pre- and post-test to suit the nature of the research and its problem.
The research community was determined by the young handball players in Karbala Sports Club, numbering (28) players, divided into two experimental and control groups, each group consisting of (14) players.
The objectives of the research were to prepare dual-task exercises for handball players aged 14-16 years and to know the effect of dual-task exercises in developing some complex skills among handball players aged 14-16 years. The research hypothesis was that dual-task exercises have a positive effect in developing complex skills for handball players aged 14-16 years.
The conclusions reached by the researchers were that dual task exercises have a positive effect on the complex skills of young handball players aged 14-16 years. The researcher recommended the use of dual task training because of the positive effect of this training in other sports activities and disciplines and for different age groups.
