Psychological resilience and its relationship to assertive behavior among female students at the University of Babylon, College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences

The research aims to identify the following:
- Identify psychological resilience and assertive behavior among female students at the University of Babylon in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences.
- Identify the relationship between psychological resilience and assertive behavior among female students at the University of Babylon in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences.
The researchers used the descriptive approach using the survey method and correlational relationships. The research community was determined by the female students of the University of Babylon in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, numbering 42 students. Then a sample of (5) students was chosen from them randomly and by lottery for the exploratory experiment. Then, the researchers chose and applied the psychological resilience and assertive behavior scales to the research sample. The results were extracted and appropriate statistical treatments were used to reach the results. After that, the results were presented, analyzed and discussed. The researchers reached the most important conclusions, which are as follows:
- The female students of the University of Babylon, College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, enjoy a high level of psychological resilience and assertive behavior.
- There is a correlation between psychological resilience and assertive behavior.
