Types of Articles
Damu Journal of Sport Sciences (DJSS) welcomes a variety of manuscript types that reflect its multidisciplinary scope in sport sciences, physical education, training, and health-related research.
1. Editorials
Editorials are written by the Editor-in-Chief or members of the Editorial Board and address emerging issues, recent developments, or topics of academic importance in sport sciences. Invited contributions from external experts may also be considered.
2. Review Articles
Review articles provide comprehensive and critical evaluations of current knowledge in a specific area of sport sciences. Both narrative and systematic reviews are welcome. Authors should highlight recent developments, identify research gaps, and propose future research directions.
3. Original Research Articles
Original research articles present new findings, innovative methods, or new interpretations in sport sciences. Manuscripts should be structured as follows:

4. Short Communications
Short communications report concise and significant research findings or preliminary data of immediate relevance to the sport science community.
5. Letters to the Editor
Letters to the Editor provide brief scholarly discussions related to previously published articles or important scientific issues in sport sciences.
6. Case Studies in Sport Sciences
Case studies present practical or applied investigations in coaching, training, sports performance, sports injuries, or physical education practices.
7. Commentaries
Commentaries are opinion-based articles discussing emerging trends, policies, or significant recent findings in sport sciences and physical education.
