Section Policy & Manuscript Preparation

Damu Journal of Sport Sciences is a peer-reviewed academic journal published regularly with four issues per year in all fields of sport sciences. Manuscripts must follow international academic publishing standards and comply with the following formatting requirements:

Manuscript Formatting

  • Manuscripts must be prepared using Microsoft Word.

  • Font: Arial, Size 14.

  • Line spacing: Double-spaced.

  • Text should be written on one side of the page only.

Page Layout

  • Top margin: 4 cm

  • Bottom margin: 3 cm

  • Left and right margins: 3.5 cm

Length of Manuscript

  • The manuscript should not exceed 16 A4 pages.

  • Maximum 34 lines per page.

Referencing Style

  • References must be cited within the text, not in footnotes.

  • Citation format: (Author’s name, Year, Page number).

Abstract & Keywords

    • Keywords must be provided below the abstract in Arabic and English.
