Abstract

Achieving the highest sports levels and recording records for most developed countries was not a coincidence, but rather came as a result of the proper use of scientific foundations in studying movement in terms of applying the results of physical laws. The researcher found that there are clear differences in the achievements of Iraqi strength games when compared to the international level. The researcher believes that these differences are the result of the variation in physical abilities, which leads to a difference in the application of the mechanical conditions that must be implemented in the hurdles competition, especially when crossing the barriers. The aim of the research is to identify the relationship between strength indicators and the path of the body's center of gravity in terms of the take-off leg when crossing the curve barrier. And to identify the values of strength indicators for the pushing leg and the path of the body's center of gravity when crossing the barrier. The descriptive research method was used and the research community was chosen intentionally, they are the players of the Iraqi youth team for the 400-meter hurdles event, the number of which is (4) players. The researcher reached a set of conclusions, the most important of which are:

1-The difference in the level of strength indicators for the sample was due to the difference in the mass of the players.

2- The first distance before the hurdle was greater than the level of the landing distance after the hurdle for the research sample.

3- The level of strength time is proportional to the crossing time at a rate of three times.
