Abstract

The aim of the research was to identify some physiological variables in addition to identifying some biomotor capabilities and performance endurance of young handball players in the Diwaniyah Club aged (16-18) years, as well as identifying the relationship of physiological variables to the biomotor capabilities and performance endurance of young handball players in the Diwaniyah Club aged (16-18) years. The researcher used the descriptive approach using the correlation method between the variables. The research sample was selected, which is young handball players aged (16-18) and their number is (14) players, representing (100%) of the community. Physiological tests were conducted to measure oxygen consumption, lactic acid concentration, pulse measurement, and biokinetic capabilities tests, including the explosive ability test for the legs - the compatibility test for circles - the running test (30 m) - the performance endurance test for handball. The data were processed statistically to reach the results of the study. The most important conclusions were the existence of a correlation between the physiological and biokinetic variables, as well as the existence of a correlation between the physiological variables and biokinetic capabilities with performance endurance.
