Abstract

The study aims at evaluating the performance of the leaders of the Rovers clans and female guides, who hold the wooden badge, from the point of view of student activities officials in the government and non-government universities. And highlighting the challenges that face the process of evaluation, The Survey method descriptive method has been adopted.

The community and sample of study are represented by the leaders of rovers clans and female guides who hold the wooden badge in the government and non-government universities and they were 60 male and female leaders; for the academic year 2023-2024.

One of the most important results that have been found is that the evaluation showed that it helped significantly in specifying the strong and weak points of the leaders. And this enables in improving their leading skills and developing the active strategies to leave the Scouts clan.

In addition, evaluation also contributes in the continuity of Scout's movement through preparing special and qualified leaders, who are able to face challenges and achieve the aims of the movement.

Leaders who undergo regular evaluation are more able to implement Scouts activities and programs effectively and achieve the desired aims.

Among the most important recommendations is the need to combine several methods and tools for evaluation to ensure obtaining a comprehensive and balanced view of the leader’s performance in a way that ensures achieving the maximum benefit from scouting programs and enhancing the quality of leadership within scouting clans in universities, and the need to encourage leaders to evaluate their performance themselves and identify strengths and weaknesses in a way that enhances their self awareness and their desire for improvement.
