The role of handball sports activities in developing positive resilience and optimism for sixth-grade students

The research has practical importance in terms of the possibility of employing its results by school administrations, the Ministry of Education, and supervisors of extracurricular activities, to develop purposeful educational sports programs that enhance the psychological health of students. In light of the increasing global interest in positive education, this research contributes to enriching local and Arab literature by presenting a research model that combines physical education and psychological support, and aims to identify (the level of positive resilience and optimism for sixth-grade students, the role of sports activities in developing positive resilience and optimism for sixth-grade students). The community of this research was determined intentionally, which is the sixth-grade students in the Hashemite sector schools, numbering (10) secondary schools, for their cooperation in a way that serves the research. The research sample consisted of (780) students, including a constructive sample, while the experimental sample was divided into two groups, one experimental and the other a control group, each of which included (30 students) for their cooperation in a way that serves the research. The researcher adopted the scale of positive resilience and optimism.
