Emotional control disorders and their relationship to psychological adaptation of female students with sports specialization

The research aims to identify emotional control disorders and psychological adaptation of female students with sports specialization and to know the correlation between emotional control disorders and psychological adaptation of female students with sports specialization. The research hypothesis was the existence of a statistically significant correlation between emotional control disorders and psychological adaptation of female students with sports specialization.
The descriptive approach was used using the survey method and correlation relationships to suit the research objectives. The research sample consisted of (150) female students from some colleges of physical education in Baghdad Governorate. They were randomly selected. The Al-Nusairi scale (2015) was chosen to measure emotional control disorders, which consists of (36) paragraphs distributed over four areas, and the psychological adjustment scale, which also contains four areas. The researcher presented the two scales to some experts and specialists as a criterion for the validity of the scale. The scale was approved at a rate of (88%), which is a high percentage that can be relied upon. The scientific foundations of the two scales were extracted. After using statistical methods using the SPSS statistical analysis program, the results were presented, analyzed and discussed. The researcher concluded:
1-Random differences appeared in the level of emotional control disorders for the research sample.
2-The research sample, represented by female students specializing in sports, is characterized by high psychological adjustment.
3- There is a statistically significant correlation between emotional control and psychological adjustment for female students specializing in sports.
