The importance of the research lies in identifying the relationship between some body measurements and physical characteristics with the level of achievement in the long jump event for track and field for students. The importance of knowing body measurements and physical characteristics and studying them among students, as each sporting activity has its own physical requirements compared to other activities. It aims to identify the correlations between some anthropometric measurements (weight / total body length / length of the lower limbs) and physical characteristics (explosive strength of the legs). The researcher used the descriptive analytical method for its suitability to the nature and study of the method Physical and comparative study where the study sample was formed from the first stage students of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of the Future, numbering (50) students at the University of the Future, and the researchers concluded that there is a significant relationship between anthropometric measurements and physical characteristics, and students who have anthropometric measurements and physical characteristics less than the rest of their colleagues, students who have greater anthropometric measurements and physical characteristics for the long jump skill are better than the rest of their colleagues.
