The effect of the Schwartz model on the performance of some defensive formations in volleyball for female students
Keywords:
Schwartz model, defensive formations in volleyballAbstract
The objectives of the research were to prepare educational units according to the Schwartz model in the performance of some defensive formations in volleyball for female students in the fourth stage, and to know the effect of the educational units according to the Schwartz model in the performance of some defensive formations in volleyball for female students in the fourth stage for the experimental group. The two researchers assumed the existence of a positive effect of the educational units prepared according to the model. Schwartz in performing some defensive formations in volleyball for fourth-year students. The two researchers used the experimental approach by designing two equal experimental and control groups with a pre- and post-test, due to its suitability to the nature of the research problem and its objectives on fourth-year students in the College of Education for Girls - Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences - University of Kufa for the year. Academic year (2022-2024), numbering (65). The research sample is fourth-year students in the College of Education for Girls - Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences - University of Kufa. The research included presenting, analyzing, and discussing the results. The results of the experimental group’s pre- and post-tests on the research variables were presented, analyzed, and the results and conclusions were discussed. The two researchers concluded that there was development for the experimental and control groups in the performance of some defensive formations in volleyball for the female students, and the impact of the Schwartz model implemented on the female students of the group. The experimental group had a positive impact in learning defensive formations in volleyball, and the experimental group outperformed the control group in learning some defensive formations in volleyball for female students. The two researchers recommended the necessity of using the Schwartz model in learning the technical performance of defensive formations in volleyball, and working to organize the content of the study material with an educational design. According to the steps of the Schwartz model and in a way that is consistent with achieving the set educational goals, and conducting similar research and studies to compare the Schwartz model with other models and strategies or with various teaching methods to determine their impact on and learning artistic performance.
