Abstract

The availability of advanced and modern devices helped athletes to improve their performance continuously. Accordingly, the importance of the research lies in developing the speed of motor response by manufacturing an electronic laser device that works with remote control technology. The speed of motor response has an important role in performing skills because it is one of the important physical abilities for many sports. Some of the kinematic variables affecting the performance of the forehand stroke in tennis were also studied, as motor analysis has a significant and direct impact on evaluating the motor path of sports movements, which in turn leads to the sports movement reaching a level of performance.

The research problem is what determines the type of approach chosen by the researcher to reach the required results, so the researchers used the experimental approach (with a single-group design) with pre- and post-tests to suit the nature of the research and its problem.

The objectives of the research were to design an innovative electronic device with remote control to develop the speed of movement response and identify the values ​​of some kinematic variables of the forehand stroke in tennis.

The researchers concluded that the innovative device helped develop the speed of movement response and that the research sample achieved remarkable progress in the values ​​of this characteristic as well as the values ​​of some kinematic variables under study.

The researchers recommended the need to use modern devices in training, including the device for developing the speed of movement response, especially in games that require this characteristic, as well as the need to pay attention to using movement analysis to know the level achieved by players during the training period and apply the correct biomechanical conditions while performing the forehand stroke skill in tennis.
