Abstract

The research aims to design a training program using anaerobic endurance training. Identifying the effect of the proposed program on some physical variables (speed, muscular ability, and strength characterized by speed) among football players. Identifying the effect of the proposed program on some physiological indicators among football players. Research methodology: The researcher used the experimental method. Research population: football players. Research sample: (40) players who were divided into two groups: experimental and control. Research tools: Tests to measure physical variables (speed, muscular ability, strength characterized by speed) and physiological indicators (heart rate, blood pressure, lactic acid concentration). Procedures: The training program was applied to the experimental group for 8 weeks, while the control group did not receive any training. The research results showed that the anaerobic endurance training program had a positive effect on some physical variables (speed, muscular ability, strength characterized by speed) and physiological indicators (heart rate, blood pressure, lactic acid concentration) among the soccer players in the experimental group. Discussion of results: The results of this research are consistent with the results of previous studies that showed the effectiveness of anaerobic endurance training in improving physical abilities and athletic performance.
