The research aims to determine the effect of using the dual method on developing some offensive basketball skills among first-year students – Physical Education and Sports Science – Ahl al-Bayt University – Physical Education and Sports Science. It also aims to develop exercises using the dual method to develop some offensive basketball skills for first-year students – Ahl al-Bayt University – Physical Education and Sports Science. The research methodology used is the experimental method. The research sample was selected from the first-year students at Ahl al-Bayt University - Physical Education. The total sample was (20) students, divided into (two experimental groups and a control group), with (10) students per group. This chapter also included the exploratory experiment and the selected tests (the shooting from a fixed position test).

In light of the research objectives and the results of the statistical treatments, the researcher reached the following conclusions: There were significant statistical differences between the results of the two tests (pre- and post-tests), in favor of the post-test for the experimental and control groups. There were significant statistical differences between the results of the post-tests for the experimental and control groups, in favor of the experimental group.
