The importance of this research lies in its attempt to develop players' performance in the Bent Back Half-Turn Aerobic Flip, Preceded by the Arabian Jump, by developing strength through the application of explosive exercises using specific muscle strength training techniques, away from the traditional method. The study aimed to identify the effect of specific muscle strength exercises on developing some strength components and performance of the curved back aerial flip with a half-turn, preceded by an Arabian jump on a floor exercise mat. The researchers used an experimental approach, designing a single experimental group with a pre- and post-test, on a sample of gymnasts aged 11-13 years who train at the training center of the Central Federation, Maysan branch. The sample was deliberately selected as there were no other gymnasts of the same age group in the same governorate. The researchers concluded that the specific muscle strength exercises designed had a clear impact on developing some strength components and performance of the curved back aerial flip with a half-turn, preceded by an Arabian jump on a floor exercise mat.
