Abstract

The importance of research became clear by paying attention to classifying and selecting players to save time and effort and achieve the best results. The selection process also helps to a great extent in investing effort and human resources in this field. However, the problem of the research became clear, and through the experience and knowledge of the researcher, he noticed the scarcity and neglect of coaches in the process of classification and selection according to Variables (anthropometric measurements and the explosive power of the arms and legs). Likewise, these elements did not receive sufficient attention to collect them and know their effect on each other, as well as their effect on the skill performance when preparing the player. This is a problem that needs someone to address it with study and analysis. The research was conducted on the Kufa Sports Club football players, who numbered ( 20) players, so the study aimed to: 1- Identify the most important anthropometric measurements and the explosive power of the arms and legs as an indication for the classification and selection of players for the skills of ace and ace and the direct and indirect causal relationships as an indication for the classification and selection of volleyball players.

2- Building a model of the causal relationships of the most important anthropometric measurements and the explosive power of the arms and legs as an indication for the classification and selection of players for the skills of ace and ace as an indication for the classification and selection of volleyball players. The researcher concluded: -

- Anthropometric measurements play a major role in determining a player’s ability to serve and serve with different types of aces, especially (total length, arm length, upper arm length, and forearm length).
