The importance of this research lies in its alignment with modern educational requirements and guidelines that call for innovation in teaching strategies. The current study focuses on problem-solving as one of the many teaching strategies available. Researchers believe this strategy has a significant impact on accelerating learning progress and improving students' acquisition of basic volleyball skills, including serving and receiving, while also saving time and effort. The research aims to identify the effect of the problem-solving strategy on students' learning of serving and receiving volleyball skills. The sample consisted of fourth-grade students at Al-Rifai Preparatory School for Boys in Al-Rifai District, Dhi Qar Governorate, during the 2023-2024 academic year. Researchers employed an experimental design with two groups: an experimental group and a control group. The most significant finding was the superiority of the experimental group, which implemented the teaching curriculum using the problem-solving strategy, over the control group, which implemented the curriculum using the teacher's method, in teaching students the skills of serving and receiving volleyball. The researcher recommends conducting similar studies examining the problem-solving strategy at age groups not covered in this study. For male and female students.
