The Role of Strategic Management in Achieving Organizational Excellence in Youth and Sports Forums in Salah al-Din Governorate from the Perspective of Their Administrative and Coaching Staff

Abstract

     The study aimed to build two scales (strategic planning and organizational performance), and to identify their levels in the youth and sports forums in Salah al-Din Governorate from the point of view of its administrative and organizational staff, as well as to identify the impact of strategic planning on organizational performance in those forums. The researcher used the descriptive-analytical method with correlational relationships, as it was suitable for the nature of the research problem. The research population consisted of (255) members of youth and sports forums from their administrative and training staff. This sample included (155) employees from the administrative and training staff of youth and sports forums in Salah al-Din Governorate. The sample was selected using simple random sampling (drawing lots) and represents (60.78%). It was divided between the statistical analysis sample, consisting of (140) from the construction sample, representing (54.90%) of the total study sample, and (15) from the construction sample, representing (5.88%) of the total study sample. This sample included (100) administrative and training staff members from youth and sports forums in Salah al-Din Governorate, representing (39.21%) of the total study sample. The researcher reached a number of conclusions, the most important of which is that strategic management plays a role in achieving a good level of organizational excellence in youth and sports forums. In light of the conclusions, the researcher reached a number of recommendations, the most important of which is encouraging the management and departments of youth and sports forums to adopt the foundations and principles of strategic management adopted in this study, which contributes to enhancing the organizational excellence of their forums.
