The importance of this research lies in identifying the effect of educational units using an electronic device on improving the launch angle of the throwing arm in shot put. The use of modern electronic devices has become essential for evaluating performance and accurately identifying strengths and weaknesses. Furthermore, it is necessary to provide modern measuring devices characterized by speed, accuracy, and objectivity. The research aims to develop educational units using an electronic device to improve the launch angle of the throwing arm in shot put.
The researcher adopted the experimental method. The research population consisted of second-year students in the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for the academic year 2025-2026. The research sample comprised 40 students. The study also included the tools and instruments used, and addressed the research tests, pilot study, and main experiment. The results were analyzed using appropriate statistical methods.
The researcher concluded the following: The educational units using the designed electronic device demonstrated high accuracy and effectiveness in improving the launch angle of the throwing arm for students in the shot put. The device exhibited a high stability coefficient, indicating the stability of the measurements it provided. The electronic device is characterized by its ease of use and speed in generating results. It is a modern method for reducing errors, increasing measurement accuracy, saving time and effort during testing, and improving the individual performance of each student, leading to increased throwing distance and optimal performance. The launch angle is considered one of the important biomechanical variables that affect performance levels in the shot put
