Abstract

In the sports aspect, the player faces hesitation in performing most of the duties assigned to him in training or competition, which is due to the psychological pressures he faces due to the audience or the treatment of the coach or colleagues and other matters that the player feels that if he fails to perform, he will be blamed, which affects the psychological aspect and raises the level of psychological pressures.

Here, we are required to prepare psychologically to raise his psychological toughness and the ability to get rid of those pressures and hesitation in implementing various basic skills and various sports.

The importance of the research came in reducing hesitation and psychological pressures for players by raising psychological toughness through psychological exercises and implementing complex skills in the best performance, especially for the youth category, which is the basic basis for supporting national teams.

The most important objectives of the research were: - Identifying the effect of psychological exercises for psychological toughness in reducing hesitation and performing some basic complex skills in youth basketball.

Accordingly, the conclusion was: - Psychological exercises for psychological toughness helped in reducing hesitation and raising the level of performance of some basic complex skills in youth basketball.

It was recommended: - Adopting psychological exercises for psychological toughness because they helped in reducing hesitation and raising the level of performance of some basic complex skills in youth basketball.
