The impact of educational units using variable and fixed learning methods on learning some offensive skills with the foil for female students

Abstract

The educational process has occupied the minds of many researchers and specialists in the field of learning and teaching, and since the teacher is one of the basic pillars upon which the educational process is based, the successful teacher is the one who tries to find the best methods that suit the abilities and level of students. The importance of research lies in using reciprocal learning in the method of variable and fixed training in teaching complex offensive skills with foil, in order to contribute to Providing a new educational method that helps raise the level of students’ learning of fencing skills within the prescribed curriculum. As for the research problem, despite the fruitful results that research has reached regarding the use of different educational methods, the educational process in our country, especially in teaching motor skills, still depends on specific educational methods (the imperative method) that have not been taken into consideration. The specificity of each skill, its level of difficulty and the way it is learned, therefore, the researchers decided to use other methods and techniques in education, including the use of the method of reciprocal learning with the methods of variable and fixed training in order to improve learning of offensive kicking skills with foil instead of relying on the command method only.
