This research aims to study the role of teacher organizational behavior in improving the social climate of learning in basketball classes for students at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, University of Maysan. The importance of this research lies in the fact that organizational behavior reflects the system of values and professional practices within the educational environment, which directly affects the nature of the social climate in sports classes.
The researcher used a descriptive correlational approach with a sample of 80 third-year male and female students, randomly selected. A two-part questionnaire was developed: the first measured the dimensions of the teacher's organizational behavior (leadership, communication, organizational justice, and discipline), and the second measured the dimensions of the social learning climate (interpersonal relationships, cooperation, mutual respect, and motivation).
The results showed a statistically significant positive relationship between the teacher's organizational behavior and the social learning climate (r=0.72, α=0.01), indicating that fostering positive organizational values among teachers contributes to building a more interactive and humane learning environment.
