The Design thinking among the physical education teachers in Diwaniyah Governorate Center

Abstract

   The research goaled at building a measurement of design thinking among the physical education teachers in the Diwaniyah Governorate Center. The research problem lies in the following question: What is the design thinking among the physical education teachers in the Diwaniyah Governorate Center? The researcher has identified the population and sample for his research, who were all physical education teachers in the Directorate of General Education in the Diwaniyah Governorate Center, who are regular for the academic year (2023-2024), and their number is (220) teachers and schools, by seeking the help of the Planning Division in the General Directorate of Diwaniyah Education, and the scale sample was (200). The exploratory sample was (20) male and female teachers, and they were selected by random stratified method. Conclusions: There is design thinking at a good level among male and female physical education teachers in the Diwaniyah Governorate Center, and there is good interest from the schools of the Diwaniyah Governorate Center, which helps to increase design thinking among Male and Female of the physical education teachers, there is no preference for the variables of certification and experience among physical education teachers in the Diwaniyah Governorate Center. Recommendations: Paying attention to design thinking among physical education teachers in the Diwaniyah Governorate Center. Conducting seminars and training workshops for physical education teachers because of their benefit in developing design thinking. And classroom activities in physical education lessons, activating the role of physical education teachers and students by collecting ideas, questions, and inquiries during the physical education lesson. Statistical methods: The data obtained was processed using the statistical package (SPSS) and the program (Excel).
