The effect of the generative learning strategy in developing the accuracy and speed of returning the serve in tennis for students

Through the researcher’s acquaintance with scientific research and studies, he noticed that it rarely dealt with the process of returning the serve. Likewise, through the researcher following the game and practicing it, he noticed the lack of interest of teachers in training their players to return the serve and focusing their training on the performance of the serve, since the serve is an effective weapon through which it is possible to take a direct point with less. effort of the player, It is natural to pay attention to this, but it is better if the player practices a good serve while being able to return such a serve as well, then integration will be achieved in the training process. From what was mentioned, the researcher found a great necessity in studying this case scientifically and developing applicable solutions through the use of A generative learning strategy for the process of returning the serve in light of preparing physical and skill exercises that contribute to improving the student’s ability to return the serve. The aim of the research is to:
1- Preparing an educational curriculum using the generative learning strategy to perform the return of serve in tennis for the research sample.
2- Knowing the effect of the educational curriculum using the generative learning strategy to perform the return of serve in tennis for the research sample.
The most important conclusions were:
1- The use of a generative learning strategy has proven effective in developing the accuracy of returning the upper spin serve better in the post-test than it was in the pre-test.
2- Using the generative learning strategy significantly increased the speed of returning the upper spin serve in the post-test compared to the pre-test.
3- The student’s skill performance improved significantly in his ability to direct a fast ball to a specific place far away from the opponent.
