The research aims to know the effect of technique training on developing the level of skill performance and achieving the (50) meter freestyle swimming event. In order to achieve the goal of the study, the researcher chose (26) young swimmers in an intentional manner and they were divided into two groups, the experimental group (13) and the control group (13) swimmers, which Their ages ranged between (20-22) years. The researcher used the experimental method to suit the nature of this research using the pre- and post-measurement method for the two groups. The research sample was swimmers from the Samawa Sports Club. The duration of the program lasted (8) weeks, with (3) training units per week. The time of the training unit was (90 minutes). The program was applied to the first experimental group. There are statistically significant differences between the experimental group and the control group in the post-measurement in favor of the experimental group to which the proposed training program (technique training) was applied.
Through these results, the researcher reached the most important conclusions: The program used affected the length of the stroke for the experimental group over the control group, as the calculated (t) value was higher than the tabulated value at the 0.05 level, where it was 3.22.
