Psychological Integration and its Relationship to the Performance of Forehand and Backhand Stroke Skills in Tennis for Female Students

This research comprises five chapters: The significance of this research lies in establishing the relationship between psychological integration and the performance of forehand and backhand stroke skills among second-year students in the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences.
Research Methodology: The researcher employed a descriptive correlational approach to address the research problem. The research population and sample consisted of second-year students in the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, College of Education for Women, University of Kufa, for the academic year 2023-2024. The sample included 26 students, with 3 excluded due to absence and 5 participating in a pilot study. The performance of the forehand and backhand stroke skills was evaluated.
The results revealed a correlation between psychological integration and the forehand and backhand stroke skills in tennis.
The researcher concluded that the vocabulary used in the second-stage tennis lesson was extensive, with each element influencing the others.
The researcher recommends focusing on developing psychological integration through the use of diverse training methods and programs, given the significant impact this integration has on improving performance in various sports, activities, and athletic skills, in addition to supporting academic achievement.
