This research examines the impact of participative learning on students' acquisition of basic handball skills, namely passing and shooting. The research's significance lies in adopting a modern educational approach that emphasizes the learner's role through interaction and teamwork, rather than traditional methods, due to its effect on improving skill performance and increasing student motivation. The researchers used an experimental design with two groups (experimental and control) using pre- and post-tests. The research sample consisted of 32 female students, divided equally between the two groups of 16 each. The study program lasted for six weeks, comprising 12 learning units.
The results showed statistically significant differences in favor of the post-test scores in both groups, with a clear advantage for the experimental group, which used the participatory learning method. The researchers concluded that this method was more effective in developing students' skills compared to the traditional method, due to the interaction, cooperation, and continuous feedback it provided.
