The effect of educational exercises based on neurolinguistic modeling on some types of handballs shooting for students

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the impact of educational exercises based on Neuro-Linguistic Modeling (NLM) systems (auditory, kinesthetic, and visual) on learning certain types of handball shooting, and to determine which NLM system (auditory, kinesthetic, and visual) is most effective in teaching these shooting techniques. The research population was determined in a purposive manner, consisting of students of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences - Al-Qadisiyah University - second stage for the academic year 2023 - 2024, with a number of (150) students, distributed over (6) study sections To achieve the research objectives, the researcher prepared educational exercises based on the Neuro-Linguistic Modeling (NLM) for the three experimental groups (auditory, visual, and kinesthetic). These exercises included (16) educational units, with two units per week and each unit lasting (90) minutes. The most important conclusion is that the educational approach has a positive effect in developing the performance level of the skills under investigation For the three experimental research groups (visual, auditory, and sensory). The three experimental groups (visual, auditory, and sensory) have shown improvement in the skill aspect, as has the control group.
