Abstract

The study aimed to identify the reality of organizational and administrative support by decision-makers for sports teams participating in the championships of Baghdad universities from the point of view of students participating in those university sports teams. The human field was: students participating with sports teams in university championships for the academic season (2023-2024). And the time field: 3-7-2024 to 5-30-2024. Spatial scope: The indoor sports hall at Al-Mustansiriya University, College of Basic Education. The researcher took her research community from the Iraqi governmental and private universities participating in the university football championships for the central region (A), which were held in its qualifiers at Al-Mustansiriya University / College of Basic Education. It consisted of (8) sports teams and consisted of (93) students (players). The researcher took the research community at a rate of (86%). Thus, the research sample consisted of (80) students (players) representing (8) universities. The researcher recommended that there should be seriousness on the part of the deanship of colleges in dealing properly with students who win championships or achieve one of the three positions, and that colleges should issue letters of thanks and appreciation to players participating in university sports championships, and that they should pay attention to the healthy psychological state of student players before matches by not involving them in administrative disputes that occur between those concerned.
